The Hansoll Head Office was switched off for an hour on 25 March to mark Earth Hour, organized by the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF). The event was first launched in 2007 by WWF and partners in Sydney to show leaders that climate change was an issue people cared about. Earth Hour has since become an annual affair aimed at raising awareness on nature conservation and international environmental issues.
