Our Rooftop Solar Systems at Unisoll Vina and Global Dyeing began their operation in March and June 2022. The Systems are estimated to produce renewable electricity that is able to cover 57% of the electricity demand of Unisoll Vina and 13% for Global Dyeing, reducing our GHG emissions by 33% and 5% per year, respectively. The transition to renewable energy is one of the most crucial initiatives to decarbonize the apparel industry's supply chain, and our Renewable Energy Usage Projects at both sites are part of our ambitious commitment to align our operations with the Paris Agreement goal to limit global warming below 1.5°C. |
