Hansoll Textile signed an agreement with WWF-Vietnam last week for the 'Otter Recovery and Wetland Forest Habitat Restoration in U Minh Thuong National Park' project.

This agreement is for a three-year project from March 2025 to March 2027 to restore wetlands and conserve otter habitats in U Minh Thuong National Park in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. U Minh Thuong National Park is a major wetland conservation area registered as a 21,000ha Ramsar wetland. A fire in 2002 destroyed 40% of the national park, severely damaging habitats for various wildlife including otters.

Through this project, Hansoll Textile will contribute to biodiversity conservation by restoring 15ha of wetlands from unrecovered areas and expanding otter habitats.

Hansoll Textile has already supported endangered species conservation projects in the Cambodian Mekong River basin until 2025, and plans to further expand biodiversity conservation activities in Southeast Asia through this U Minh Thuong National Park project in Vietnam.

Hansoll Textile will continue to actively participate in environmental conservation activities for a sustainable future and grow as a global company fulfilling its social responsibilities.
